There are numerous reasons people do not succeed with the mlm business opportunity that they were very excited about when they joined. Ambition is one of the main reasons for that.

However there are other reasons that can be avoided if you do some proper research before hand.

Reason #1: Many people get involved with a company because they believe the product is very unique and that everyone will want it. A couple of unfortunate things can happen at this point.

The product may not be all that unique or very good. If it’s something that’s already readily available and many companies are promoting something similar it could be a tough sale.

Also it may turn out to be low quality product that doesn’t do what is promised. As the negative word gets out about the product your business can (and should) suffer.

Another possible problem is the company business model is a very good one. The product could be good but if the marketing system and income generating model is poor you might not make much money. You potentially could have success in promoting and selling the business but end up with very little to show for it.

Reason #2: The company provides no training or very little training. It is normal for a company to tout their program and then end up just selling products mostly to the distributors. This happens a lot with eBooks about internet marketing.

The best companies will have video, audio, and webinars available for training. For you to successfully get a business going strong you will need the necessary information and knowledge to pass on to your distributors as will they to theirs.

Reason #3: They don’t offer good (or any) support. If you don’t have a phone number available to call it’s a bad sign. Or you may be able to reach someone on the line to “sign up” but after there is not a line to handle customer service.

Call the number(s) listed to see what response you get to questions you ask. That should give you an idea what level of support they have available.

Reason #4: The company doesn’t provide a website or a lead capture page. Since getting leads and traffic to the site is essential for building your business the company should assist with this. They should also utilize an auto responder to stay in contact with visitors to your site.

Reason #5: The products sold in the business are not “high end.” You can become self efficient in a business much quicker if you are selling higher priced and higher quality products. If you can make some big money quickly you can reinvest that back into marketing which allows you to build your business faster.

MLM Lead Generation Using Words?

What I’m talking about is writing articles or blog posts that appear on the Internet. Articles or posts that share information that people, who are interested in MLM or network marketing, would find helpful.

My goal here is to give you an idea of how you can use this strategy to ultimately attract MLM leads and recruit more distributors faster.

Okay, why would you want to write something that appears on the Internet? People go to the Internet to find information, find answers to solve a problem, or because they want to learn about something.

When you provide what they’re looking for, chances are they may want to know more about you and what you’re doing. When that happens, your MLM lead generation system takes over.

MLM Lead Generation — Article Marketing

Here’s an example of how one of my mentors, David Wood, uses article marketing to generate 100+ free MLM leads daily and sponsor 10+ new distributors weekly. He taught me what he does and it’s not difficult.

This strategy is not complicated when you have someone to show you exactly what to do. So, because I want to keep this article short, sweet, and to the point, here are 5 quick steps he taught me:

Step 1.

Write one article or blog post every day and post this to your website or blog. It is important to be consistent. When you do this, in a short time you will start to see results and blow away your competition.

Step 2.

Create variations of this article or blog post and submit it to as many article directories as you can. This is called spinning your content. It takes an extra 30 minutes per article to re-write the sentences 3 times. Software makes this easy to do.

Then use the same software and submit your content to more than 100 different article directories on the Internet. Because you’re creating unique articles by spinning the content, you won’t have any problems with duplicate content. The software we use to write, spin, and submit our content is called Automatic Article Submitter.

Step 3.

The articles you submit will contain what’s called an author resource box or author’s bio section. Here’s you place links back to your original content that you posted on your website or blog. This will give your words tremendous exposure and create numerous backlinks to your website or blog.

Google will see those links being attached to numerous pieces of unique content and rank your original content high. How would it feel to have your articles appear on the first page of Google for most any keyword you desire?

Now this is when your MLM lead generation system takes over and starts to work miracles. It starts to produce numerous, laser targeted prospects for your business.

Step 4.

Next, promote your original article or blog post with a short video. Record a quick 30 second video and submit it to as many video sharing sites as you can. Point the link in your video resource box back to your original piece of content.

You can use a service called Traffic Geyser to do this quite easily. Or you can use a free online service called TubeMogul, it just doesn’t work quite as fast or as effectively as Traffic Geyser.

Step 5.

Now bookmark you original article or blog post using a free service, OnlyWire.com. It submits your original content to several social bookmarking sites, which give you more exposure.

When adding friends, you can focus on adding friends from groups related to MLM or network marketing. Connect with them, ask them how they are doing, and share ideas with them. They will eventually want to know about your business or how they can do business with you.

Third: A Powerful, Rarely Used Idea

Here’s an idea one of my mentors shared with me. Using it has doubled my results. But, before I go any further, I need to tell you that Facebook is not one of my main MLM marketing strategies. I use it to connect with people who visit my blog and subscribe to my free training offer. When someone shares their email address with me, I search for them on Facebook. If they have an account, I send them a personalize message saying hello. This simple little connection takes our relationship to a higher level. And remember, people do business with people they like and trust. In addition, I’ll look at and respond to personal emails people send me. This takes so little time and works in such a big way. Try these ideas in your business and let me know what happens.

We are in a very competitive marketplace and yet, so few people in business invest the time to get to know their prospects and customers. Consider, for a moment, what would happen in your business if one of your MLM marketing strategies was to connect with you prospects. If you invested the time to get to know them a bit. If you were to find out what they do, what problems they’re having, and what they dream of achieving. If you were to share with them valuable ideas them help them.
