A High Level of Network Marketing Success Tends to be Achieved by About 1 in 20 People.
Why is that?
Network Marketing Success
Well look at these two thoughts, think about them seriously, and you will know exactly why…
Jason, a friend of mind, recently shared his thoughts with a team of successful people he manages…
“Throughout the day today, you might be tempted to blame someone or something for your shortcomings or failures or inability to produce. Accept full and complete responsibility for your own mistakes and shortcomings.
This will toughen you and make you better because telling yourself the truth will make you get up and change your situation. When you blame others, you allow yourself to sit and do nothing because, after all, it’s not your fault.”
On the same day, I happened to be rereading the book, “The Slight Edge,” written by the legendary network marketing success, Jeff Olson. On page 89 Jeff wrote…
“The people living on top, who take responsibility, live a life that is in some ways uncomfortable. Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do, and that often means living outside the limits of one’s comfort zone. When you’re one out of twenty, you’re always going to be going the opposite direction from the other nineteen.
The people on the other side are comfortable; they’re with the masses. Their lives are more comfortable early on – but become more uncomfortable later on. Suddenly, late in life, they find they don’t have the finances, don’t have the health, no longer have the relationships, and their lives become very uncomfortable.
Those on the success curve, by contrast, end up far more comfortable later on, because they have the finances, the health, the relationships, the successes.
This means changing your thinking about the comfort zone. It’s a change in philosophy. It means embracing living uncomfortably in order to attain a life that is genuinely comfortable – not deceptively comfortable.”
Network marketing success requires that you take responsibility for your actions. The majority of the people joining network marketing opportunities do not achieve any significant level of network marketing success. In fact, many Internet marketers say that 97% of the people in network marketing fail.
The truth is that those people fail to take responsibility for their actions. They blame their sponsor, their company, their family, their friends, and the economy, everything outside of the truth. The jump from company to company looking for the “one.” The one that will magically fulfill all their dreams.
The definition of failure is giving up, quitting. Whereas the definition of success involves learning how to be a network marketing success. It means taking action with belief that leads to results.
It means connecting with network marketing leaders. Being on every conference call possible. Attending every live event. It means doing the things that increase your belief, taking more effective actions, and getting better results.
It means doing the things that take you out of your comfort zone now, so that you can enjoy a genuinely comfortable lifestyle in time. Network marketing success can be achieved by anyone and everyone that chooses to learn what to do, how to do it, and then does it.
Whether something is uncomfortable to do is not a question successful people even think about… they just do what they know they must to do to achieve the success they desire. When you take effective action consistently, with belief, you will see the fruits of your labor in time.
