Most people just get excited about a company’s products and join. However they fail to evaluate the business aspects. And they fail to make a plan before getting involved.

How To Select The Best Company for You, Then What?
It takes time to build a network marketing business that produces any real income. Today’s top money makers have learned how to combine the traditional approach with online marketing strategy.
The traditional approach can get many off to a quick start, when implemented effectively. Online marketing can take a little time to master (but is definitely worth you time to learn), unless you are already Internet marketing savvy.
It is actually a good thing if you are not yet involved in a primary company. It’s the best time to start your marketing, beginning with your plan. If you are already involved, these ideas will help you enjoy more success.
If you are serious about being a network marketing success, here are my recommendations:
How do you select the best company for you?
- Think about the market. What would people would be most interested in, would benefit most from being involved with, and would want to know more about?
- Think about what market you want to reach – Local? National? Global? Think about what that market would be most interested in. Do some research.
- Now, think about what you are most interested in. Do their interests match any of your interests?
- Look for a company that offers products or services that fits your criteria.
- Evaluate the company thoroughly. (Read some of the articles that I posted on different companies to get an idea of what to look for visit – Network Marketing and MLM Company Reviews.)
- Visit Rod Cook’s site – MLM Watchdog – he gives good advice.
Okay, you found an opportunity that fits your criteria, Now What?
- First, search for different sponsors. Start by entering the company name in Google. Evaluate their team culture, training plan, assistance, and lead generation methods. Then decide which sponsor you would like to work with.
- Enroll in the company at the top program available. Do this because the people you sponsor will follow your example. Enrolling at the top level ensures that they and you earn the most, for your efforts, in your new opportunity.
- Now invest time to learn all you can about your new opportunity. Get really focused on this for the first few days. DO NOT get pushed into calling friends and family asking them to enroll. In fact, DO NOT talk to anyone about your new opportunity just yet.
- Next, prepare yourself to hear, “No,” and, “You’re crazy for getting into something like that.” If you do hear those things, pat yourself on the back. You are taking action and these comments, especially from people you know, are just part of doing business.
This is not a personal attack on you. They are not intentionally meant to hurt you. Implement what I suggest next and you will reduce the negative feedback that you are likely to receive.
- Now, create a list of all your contacts, e.g., business, personal, family, etc., But DO NOT think that you are going to have to chase or bug them, Read on…
- Think about whom on that list would be the most open to join anything, you choose to get into, just because they believe in you and trust you.
- Prioritize your list based on my last recommendation. (This is a critical step.)
- You will use this list to tell people you started a new venture and ask them who they know that they think would be interested in your type opportunity. This is a very low key approach.
Some people will want to know about what you are doing for their own benefit. Others will give you referrals that you can contact using their name.
- Begin now to learn about Internet marketing and lead generation strategies from those who are successful today. (Check out the lead generation system Jim Hageman uses personally.)
- Get involved in mastering ONE lead generation strategy (I mean, so well that you could write a book about it) and start using it now. Focus on building a list that you can add value to, share ideas with, and build a relationship with.
- I could go on and on….
I think you get my point. Now is the best time to get started on your plan and building relationships. You do not need to sponsor the world to enjoy network marketing success.
You do need to attract, not chase, the people that you really want on your team. A skill that must be developed.
Get focused on only working with 2 people at a time, helping them get started and into profit by enrolling 2. Then, help them help their 2 new people enroll 2, and so on…
…Until they get it. You’re developing leaders that are following a successful path.
Once leaders emerge that can help in training, go back to your list and attract another 2 people that you want to work with. Continue to be very selective. Follow your successful path.
Keep it simple and your business will grow huge!
